Wine Flavor Profile
Altestelle Spumante is a dry sparkling white wine with ripe apple, pear, lemon and subtle acacia aromas and flavors. The palate offers delicate bubbles, wonderful freshness and a lengthy, elegant finish.Wine Food Pairings
Aperitif, assorted nuts, seafood, poultry, butter/cream sauces, cheeseboards.Beyond the Label
Altestelle is crafted from Negroamaro, a red grape with high acidity that imparts unparalleled vibrancy and structure to its bubbles. The wine is white in color, because Francesco doesn’t let the red grape skins mingle with the juice. Offering more complexity and finesse than Prosecco, it has a persistent mousse, wonderful freshness and just a whisper of sweetness.
With ripe orchard fruit flavors and citrus accents, it's delightful on its own, but also lovely alongside hors d’oeuvres, seafood, creamy pastas and more.Altestelle means “high stars,” as Francesco and his team always aim sky-high when crafting their top-quality wines.
