Argentine legend Opi Sadler is beloved by customers and critics alike for his rich reds, and especially for Shiraz-Malbec-Cab blend The Waxed Bat. His sumptuous Waxed Bat Reserve is even richer, darker and more intense than the original. It also has dozens of illustrious accolades to its name.
Opi and his team hand harvested the ripest Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec from his favorite Mendoza vineyards. And since “Argentina has four excellent vintages in a row including 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020” (critic James Suckling), the quality of the grapes was truly top notch. After assembling the perfect blend, Opi aged the concentrated juice 12 months in his finest oak barrels.
