The Choblet family has owned their estate, Le Manoir des Herbauges, since 1864. Their signature Muscadet regularly wins acclaim from top critics and wine competitions. In the vineyard, the Choblet family has long been committed to sustainable farming practices (the estate is certified Terra Vitis) and are also recognized as innovators. They were also the first independent estate in the region to use computerized temperature control for fermentation and the first to use pneumatic presses (both now standard).

After a rigorous selection process (15% of the grapes were eliminated to preserve quality), Jérôme aged the wine sur lie for extra complexity, and it has a gentle spritz that preserves the wine’s natural freshness.
