Wine Flavor Profile
Le Rosé de La Clarière is a dry, light-bodied rosé wine with vibrant aromas of lemon, strawberries and raspberries. The notes continue onto the palate, along with a remarkable freshness and a long, persistent finish.Wine Food Pairings
Roasted beef (lean cuts like filet), duck, eggplant, pork, fruit sauces, salmon.Beyond the Label
The red blends of Bordeaux are arguably the world’s most famous wines. Then, there’s the region’s cult whites like Pavillon de Margaux, which goes for $300+ per bottle.
Amazingly enough, there’s never been a collectible Bordeaux rosé of the same caliber…until now.
Château La Clarière is renowned for its quality-obsessed approach (they’ve won France’s top wine prize, the Prix d’Excellence two times). The flagship red rivals the quality of Saint-Émilion’s Cru Classé reds. Their rosé is even rarer and goes toe-to-toe with the world’s finest pinks. The team handpicks perfectly ripe Cabernet Franc and Merlot, then uses a short, cool maceration for a vibrant pink hue, plus delicate citrus and summer berry flavors.
You could go for the big brands from Provence (Château Miraval makes 200,000 cases, Whispering Angel makes over 1 million per year, and both cost over $25). Or, for just a few dollars more, you could impress your guests with this artisanal rarity.
This is likely to sell out fast…early orders encouraged.
