Le Champ des Etoiles Chardonnay 2024
Write a review
Le Champ des Etoiles is one of our most popular Pinot Noirs—so naturally, we wanted to bring you its “little sister” Chardonnay. Made in the image of fine white Burgundy, it’s a great-value alternative.

Wine Flavor Profile
Le Champ des Etoiles is a medium-bodied white wine with creamy stone fruit, citrus and almond aromas. On the palate, there's a mouthfilling, rounded texture, ripe peach and toasty spice flavors plus an elegant mineral streak.Wine Food Pairings

With mouthfilling peach and spice flavors, the complex and creamy Le Champ des Etoiles is one of our most-loved Chardonnays. And coming in with a price you’d be hard-pressed to find in the Côte d’Or, it’s also a great-value alternative to white Burgundy.
Winemaker and Burgundy buff Mark Hoddy started with grapes from prime Languedoc vineyard sites. To maintain delicate flavors and create a silky texture, he pressed the grapes gently, then fermented the wine in French oak barrels and aged it briefly. Four of the last five vintages have received gold medals, and this latest release is every bit as impressive.
Expect beguiling nectarine and citrus aromas, complemented by rounded layers of ripe peach, buttery notes and a refreshing zip.
If you’re a fan of top-quality Chardonnay, this wine should be at the top of your ‘buy now’ list.
