In 2020 (a great vintage across southern France), the ancient Syrah and Grenache vines at Floris Lemstra’s 19th-century family estate produced a beautifully rich, food-friendly red. Look forward to ripe blackberry, spice and wild herb flavors.

Nineteenth-century Château Canet is one of the leading domaines in southern France’s Minervois region. Its 100+ acres of vines are ringed by olive groves, pine forests and more farmland. While the estate’s surroundings are enchanting, the wines are even more so—especially in 2020, which was a great vintage across much of France.
Proprietor Floris Lemstra knew his ancient Syrah and Grenache vines had helped him produce something really special. Partially oak aged, Château Canet is a classic Minervois beauty, offering up mouthwatering black and red raspberry notes with hints of wild herbs and spice.
